As of this writing, our busy Summer season is underway with the “fun in the sun” activities happening at a fevered pitch. We have hosted numerous Family Reunions and Get-Togethers this summer and have more to come through the Labor Day weekend. Our market spectrum continues to broaden as we celebrate special dates with those couples beginning their life together as Honeymooners to those who have spent a life time together rejoicing in anniversaries from one to sixty-one!

Our historic town is home base to numerous Horse Shows and Summer Festivals along with many other close-by venues for such summer activities as biking, hiking, horseback riding and canoeing. For those with a more leisurely approach to a summer getaway we offer pool side reading, porch rocking and icy cool beverages in our casual Old Owl TAVERN. What a way to beat the heat!

If sightseeing is your cup of tea, then take a look at our area links for that day trip which spans antiques and crafts to horses, distilleries and museums! If exploring small town, country living vistas are your interest then look no further than our backyard. All within a one hour drive from our front door.
